Our Story

We’re brothers, Jorge and Jeffrey. Born and raised in Houston, we started Evergreen by doing the work ourselves, helping neighbors, and earning the next job by following through on the last. That hands-on beginning still shapes how we run the company today.

Houston properties don’t leave much room for shortcuts. Heat, heavy rain, clay soil, drainage, shade, and fast growth can make one property behave very differently from the next. We pay attention to the site, explain what matters, and recommend what makes sense for the property and Houston conditions.

As Evergreen has grown, we’ve continued to build on the principles that shaped us from the start. That means clear expectations, respect for the property, thoughtful communication, and doing what we say we’ll do.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently moved into our new home, and as first time home buyers we were a little overwhelmed with lawn maintenance. Evergreen did an excellent job getting our landscaping done at an affordable cost. After our consultation, we were given several landscaping options to choose from which helped us pick the plan that was best for us.  They cleaned up everything spotless when they were done, and also set our sprinkler system for us and diagnosed some minor issues we were having with it. We also use them to cut our lawn weekly and they have done an excellent job. Very impressed with their services and highly recommend!

Jeffery and Jorge are highly professional, on time, and provide comprehensive estimates.  Their workers were hard working, conscientious, and respectful. Communication from the office is reliable and timely. I was unable to work in my vegetable and flower garden this spring.  By the summer, it was horrendously overgrown, weeds 2-3 feet high.  Evergreen cleaned out all the weeds, amended the soil, and added a few inches of cedar mulch for me. It was a very hot day, and Evergreen did not skip any steps, got all the weeds, and saved a bunch of my existing plants. The job was so satisfactory that I have already called Evergreen to do more work for us.  Isn't that the best testimonial?

They came out quickly, gave us a fair estimate, and the crew did a great job. They were respectful, and did everything they said they were going to do. If you’re dealing with an overgrown yard, I’d definitely recommend Evergreen. Their prices are fair, they’re honest about what to expect, and the quality of their work was worth it. We called Evergreen and we got scheduled easily. They showed up and did exactly what they said they would. The work is great and the price is on the higher side but it is worth every penny! The peace of mind with how clearly they communicate, give updates and deliver the quality of service is very worth it. Before this, our gravel driveway was constantly full of debris after rain, puddles everywhere, and the inside of our cars would always end up dirty from it. From the first phone call, Diane made the whole process easy and stress-free. Then when Jorge and Jeff took over, they let me know exactly what to expect and made recommendations based on our situation. The crew showed up when they said they would and kept me updated while I was at work. Once I came back home, everything looked great. The whole thing was honestly super easy.
